Using the admin console / People
IT providers and MSPs
Manage Browser Rules for clients, each in an organisation of its own (All settings, IT provider/MSP).
Becoming an IT provider
- An owner ticks Your organisation manages Browser Rules for other organisations. A dialog says what it means first, with our Terms of Use and Data Processing Agreement.
- You confirm each client has asked you to manage their browsers, and that your agreement with each client lets you use Browser Rules for them.
- For each client's organisation, you're our customer and the client's processor, and we're your sub-processor.
Clients' organisations
- Create one with + New organisation, in the organisation menu or on the Clients page. You accept our terms for it, as its IT provider. You can manage up to 50; to manage more, contact us.
- Each has its own policies, users, audit log, plan and enrolment key.
- Clients, under Overview in the menu, lists them with their users and browsers. Open switches to one.
- Everyone in your organisation can use your clients' organisations, with their role in yours. The organisation menu shows it, such as "Owner ยท Acme IT". You aren't listed on a client's Members page.
- Clients see who manages them by name only, not your people's email addresses.
- Delete one in its All settings, Organisation, as for any organisation. Your audit log records it.
Handing over to a client
- Invite one of the client's staff as an owner, on the client's Members page.
- They end the management in All settings, IT provider/MSP, ticking to accept our Terms of Use and Data Processing Agreement. The client is then our customer directly.
- Your members lose access, apart from any who are members of the client. The client's own members and pending invitations stay, for its owners to check on the Members page.
You can't end the management from your side. To stop being an IT provider, untick the box once you manage no clients: hand each one over, or delete it.
