Incognito and InPrivate windows

Private windows are only protected once the extension is allowed in them.

Allow it in private windows

• Chrome: open chrome://extensions, select Details on Browser Rules, and turn on Allow in Incognito.
• Edge: open edge://extensions, select Details, and turn on Allow in InPrivate.

Each person turns this on in their own browser.

Or turn private windows off

Set IncognitoModeAvailability (Chrome) or InPrivateModeAvailability (Edge) to 1 through your device management.
